FOLLOW JESUS IN BAPTISM

What is baptism?

Baptism is a public declaration of an inward reality—that you have passed from death to life. Baptism buries us with the crucified Jesus and raises us up again into new life in Him (Romans 6:3-4).

Who can be baptized?

Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior

Is baptism necessary?

You may be asking yourself whether getting baptized is even necessary. After all, you’ve already made a decision to accept Jesus as your Savior. So, why should you be baptized? Baptism is a symbolic way of declaring the fact that the Lord Jesus has saved your life. You are publicly declaring that you have chosen to obey Christ as a forgiven and redeemed child of God.

How do I know if I am ready?

Maybe you think you need to get your life in order before you publicly declare your faith through baptism. However, the Bible makes clear that repentance and turning to God are all that’s needed before choosing to be baptized. Perfection is not the goal, nor does God require that of us. Instead, he requires of us a repentant heart that is open to following Him and His will for our lives and walking by faith.

Baptism Sunday is every second Sunday of the month!
